For the first time in my life, I can stand in a crowd and not feel self-conscious. For the first time in my life, I want to go out and do things. I want to experience it all, get the most out of everything, and live my life to the absolute fullest.

My chapter, TOPS #NY 768, Van Etten, was very supportive in my decision and gave me great strength and encouragement. My outlooks on life and myself have changed. I am so happy that I’ve been surrounded by so many amazing people. I’ve gone from a size 26/28 to a 12/14, from no sleep to getting a refreshing night’s sleep, from constant heartburn to feeing absolutely amazing. I’ve gone from frowns to smiles.

I am now happy being me, and I’m thankful for all that has happened in my life.
