“I joined TOPS in 1998. I was on several medications due to ailments caused by my weight. I lost 30 pounds, then started yo-yoing. In January 2008, I had reconstructive surgery for esophageal cancer. I “died” several times while in the hospital and came back. God was not through with me yet. He has brought me through all this and made me so much better for it. After surgery, the changes to my body caused a huge change in my eating behaviors. My wife began cooking using the Exchange System. My 101.5-pound loss to goal has made a tremendous difference in my life. My waist has shrunk from 50” to 40”. I now use very little medication, and I feel great!”
