“I’ve struggled with my weight since I got married in 1967. It has been up and down – mostly up. I love cooking. I even have a kitchen in my garage for gatherings. When I realized I was in a size 50 pants, in a size 3X shirt and out of air when climbing stairs, I said, “That’s it!” At 325 pounds, I hated the way I looked and felt. From experience, I knew I needed help. I joined TOPS and got it. Going to a meeting is like going to a family gathering. Everyone cares. Receiving a little phone call or card from a TOPS friend goes such a long way. Without TOPS I would not have lost 117.5 pounds to goal.”
