Introducing TOPS’ 2011 Best
Weight-Loss Success Stories

Real People. Real Weight Loss.® They're not celebrities, not airbrushed models, not paid actors. These are everyday men and women just like you who made a choice to change and found the help they were seeking at TOPS. At TOPS, we consider these real men and women to be "Kings and Queens" because of their incredible weight-loss successes. They earned this honor by losing more weight than anyone else in their province or state in the 2011 calendar year. Each was honored in the spring of 2012 at a regional event, and all were invited to participate in TOPS Club's International Recognition Days, where thousands of TOPS Club members came together to celebrate their inspiring achievements.

International Recognition Days 2012 culminated with the crowning of the 2011 International Royalty. These are the individuals who, at year's end, recorded the largest weight loss from their original starting weight to their goal weight, regardless of the time taken to reach goal.

How TOPS Chooses Winners

Men and women compete within divisions based on age and weight lost during the calendar year. A little healthy competition usually provides extra motivation for our members—all sorts of friendly contests are offered on a chapter, local, regional, and international level. The greatest overall losses lead to recognition as International Division Winners.

Crowning Achievements!

From “Best Loser of the Week” to “International King or Queen,” we’ll help you learn to set and achieve sensible, sustainable goals. Royalty are the men and women who, at the end of the year, have officially recorded the largest weight loss from their highest weight recorded at TOPS, regardless of the time taken to reach their goal.

Esther Manz, our founder, felt that members who achieved their goal weight should be “treated like royalty.” This honor means a lot to those who earn a crown at chapter, state, or province level. Each year, the best of the best are crowned the TOPS International King and Queen.

TOPS' Mission is to support our members as they take off and keep off pounds sensibly.
