Halloween is right around the corner. For many of us, there’s nothing scarier than an office filled with sweets and candy. After all, it’s much harder to resist treats when they’re so readily available. Now, I try to be realistic, and I know that no one wants to be the one employee who brings a veggie tray when everyone else is bringing candy, cookies, and brownies. So if you’re planning to celebrate Halloween at the office, why not ask all employees to bring in healthy treats instead of the usual sugar-laden fare? Mini whole-grain bagels with pumpkin cream cheese, trail mix with pumpkin seeds and dried fruit, and vegetable skeletons with low-fat dip are tasty and nutritious options.
