Illinois, Lost 100 lb. with TOPS
"TOPS is a lifestyle change. There are no forbidden foods and we focus on changing our habits."
After keeping off over a hundred pounds for 43 years, Ronette is the definition of "walking the talk." And walk she does! She loves to walk her Dachshunds, do the machines at the gym and dance it out at Zumba.
"I joined TOPS when I was 25 years old. I had just given birth to my two sons and I had gained a tremendous amount of weight. I decided I needed to do something," she says. Sure there were ups and downs, but as Ron says, "I'm a Cubs fan and Cubs fans don’t quit!"
"TOPS is a lifestyle change," Ron emphasizes. "There are no forbidden foods and we focus on changing our habits. If I want a third piece of pizza I’ll take it, I just know I’m going to have to exercise more to work that off. It’s a give and take." She goes on, "You can’t just go on a diet. You’ve got to get your muscles moving to stay strong. This is especially important when you get older. You don’t need to go to a gym—but you do need to do something!" she says.
