TOPS has two retreat options — on-site and Virtual Retreats. Each retreat is unique. Every Retreat Director has her own presentation style and schedule, but retreats generally cover the same basics:

- Cope and Move the TOPS Way
- Success the TOPS Way
The sessions run from 90 to 120 minutes. There’s always time for discussion and reflection to process the material and insights gathered along the way.
You’ll be able to:
- Participate in group and individual exercise as ability and weather permit.
- Learn more about the Exchange Program and other styles of eating.
- Discuss behaviors, change, obstacles and personal empowerment.
- Set goals and implement a plan to lose weight and live more healthily.
- Have fun and build friendships.
Retreats conclude with an optional weigh-out and recognition of various members’ achievements, followed by lunch and fun farewells. For in-person retreats, accommodations and amenities vary greatly, as does each facility’s ability to accommodate disabilities. It’s always wise to check on any concerns before retreat as only you know your comfort level and limitations.
