How do I manage TOPS Newsletters?

As a TOPS Member, you may receive different types of newsletters and emails from us -- emails from TOPS Headquarters about retreat registration, store purchases and messages from your Field Staff. You may also sign up to receive newsletters from our blogs, our member-wide Community Corner monthly series and the 10-week coaching guide.

Subscribe To TOPS Newsletters

  1. Go to www.tops.org and Sign In.
  2. Click Members Area. The Members Area page displays. In the Members Area, on the left side of the screen, you should see a box labeled “My Profile” with your name under it.
  3. Scroll down and click on Change My Profile & Password. The My Profile Details page displays.
  4. In My Profile Details, you should see on the left side of the screen "Personal Information". In the box below "Personal Information", click the pencil icon. The Edit box displays.
  5. Unheck Unsubscribe Email Newsletters.
  6. Click on Save to update your changes.
If you change your email address, please update your TOPS account. See Update Your Email Address.

Unsubscribe From TOPS Newsletters

When you join, you are signed up to receive emails from TOPS Headquarters and Field Staff. If you no longer want to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe.

  1. Go to www.tops.org and Sign In.
  2. Click Members Area. The Members Area page displays. In the Members Area, on the left side of the screen, you should see a box labeled “My Profile” with your name under it.
  3. Scroll down and click on Change My Profile & Password. The My Profile Details page displays.
  4. In My Profile Details, you should see on the left side of the screen "Personal Information". In the box below "Personal Information", click the pencil icon. The Edit box displays.
  5. Check Unsubscribe Email Newsletters.
  6. Click on Save to update your changes.

Note: This unsubscribes you from all TOPS Headquarters emails.

Subscribe to TOPS Blogs

We have four different blogs that you may want to subscribe to. They are TOPS of Mind, Refracted Fridays, Wellness Wednesday and Monday Moment of Truth.

  1. Go to www.tops.org.
  2. Click on Weight-Loss Tips and Inspiration.
  3. Select a blog to read.
  4. Use the subscription box in the sidebar to subscribe. Enter your name and email address.
  5. Click on Subscribe.
  6. Look for an email from the blog asking you to confirm your subscription. Click on the link provided to confirm.
If you change your email address, please re-subscribe to our blogs.

Unsubscribe to TOPS Blogs

If you have decided that you no longer want to receive blog posts in your email, you may unsubscribe using the last blog post your received. Click on the link in the email to unsubscribe. Follow the instructions on the unsubscribe page.

Additional emails

As members, you may receive additional emails like the Community Corner, 10-Week Coaching Series and Online Member Meeting Updates.

Subscribe to Community Corner Newsletter or 10-Week Coaching Series

  1. Go to www.tops.org and Sign In.
  2. Click Members Area. The Members Area page displays.
  3. Click on My TOPS Resources. My TOPS Resources displays.
  4. Click on Email Newsletter. The Emails page displays.
  5. Pick either Community Corner Newsletter or 10-Week Coaching Series to subscribe to.
  6. Enter your information on the subscription form. Click on Sign Up.
  7. Look for an email from the blog asking you to confirm your subscription. Click on the link provided to confirm.
If you change your email address, please re-subscribe to these emails or update your email in your TOPS account.

Unsubscribe to Community Corner Newsletter or Online Member Meeting Updates

If you have decided that you no longer want to receive this newsletter in your email, you may unsubscribe using the last newsletter your received. Click on the link in the email to unsubscribe. Follow the instructions on the unsubscribe page.

Note: The 10-Week Coaching Series ends after 10 weeks -- you don't need to unsubscribe.

Why Am I Not Getting Emails?

Our blogs have their own email sign up. You’ll need to go to each blog that you want to receive a notification when a new post (article) is published. If you have subscribed to our blogs and haven’t received a new notification from us, you need to do four things.

  1. Check your spam folder. Sometimes, your email service filters messages for you. They may move them to a promotional or social spam folder. You may need to unmark the email as spam.
  2. Verify that you are checking the right email account. You may have switched email address and forgot to sign up with the new email address.
  3. Create a filter or email rule to move emails from TOPS to a specific folder. Check your email service's help center on how to do this.
  4. Add our newsletter email addresses to your contact list. They are:
    • newsletters@tops.org
    • wondering@tops.org
If you aren't receiving emails from your Leader, Advocate or Coordinator, try these four things to make sure you get their emails.
