Garden Bomb Wrap
Prep time: 10 min. Total Time: 15 min. Servings: 1
A fresh twist on a “bun-less” burger, this wrap is perfect for warm-weather nights when the grill is going and fresh veggies are in season. It’s light enough to keep things cool on a summer evening but hearty enough to satisfy that classic cookout craving.

Ingredients
- 2 t. olive or vegetable oil
- 4 oz. frozen burger patty or veggie burger
- Corn or flour tortilla (optional)
- ½ c. iceberg lettuce or mixed greens
- ½ c. fresh veggie mix (such as mushrooms, squash or onions)
- 1 T. balsamic vinegar

Pro Tip: Large romaine lettuce leaves can also be used as “the wrap” instead of a flour or corn tortilla.
Directions
- Warm the oil in a non-stick pan over a medium-high heat. Cook the burger for 4 to 6 minutes on each side (or according to the package instructions if using a frozen veggie patty). Set aside.
- Next place the tortilla in the same skillet, warming on each side for 1 minute. Put immediately on a plate.
- Proceed to “build” your wrap by putting the lettuce and additional veggies on the tortilla first, followed by the burger.
- Gently fold the tortilla around the filling before drizzling the balsamic vinegar on a section of the plate for an optional condiment or to make the plating more photogenic.
