January's TOPS Talk: Taking Care of Your Weight and Health
Kick off 2025 with us on January 21 at 10:00 AM (CST) for a thought-provoking TOPS Talk with Ian Patton, PhD, Director of Advocacy and Public Engagement for Obesity Canada. Ian will share his personal journey with obesity and treatment, dive into why obesity is considered a chronic disease and discuss evidence-based treatment options—medications included. He’ll also offer tips for having open conversations with your healthcare provider about your weight.
With over 10 years of experience in education and advocacy, Ian has a lot to offer as both a patient advocate and public speaker. It’s going to be an engaging and insightful session you won’t want to miss!
If you can’t join us live, don’t worry! We’ll have the recording ready for you to watch within a week.
