Matcha Morning Magic Smoothie

Naturally increase your energy first thing in the morning with this nutrient-loaded smoothie. Cool, refreshing and packed with vibrant flavor, it’s a perfect way to start a warm summer day!

Ingredients

  • 1−2 T. matcha powder
  • ¼ c. frozen banana
  • ¼ c. frozen peaches or mango
  • ¼ c. frozen peaches or mango
  • ½ −1 t. honey (optional)

    Pro Tip: Swap almond or rice milk for yogurt to decrease carbs and calories.

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the matcha powder, the frozen fruit, yogurt and honey. Blend until the desired consistency is reached.
  2. Pour into a glass, preferably chilled, before sipping.
