Carol Holtz

Lead TOPS Meeting Facilitator

Carol the lead TOPS Meeting Facilitator, carries on the legacy of her grandmother Esther Manz, the founder of TOPS. With an online community of 1,500+, Carol guides weekly themes and challenges, offering support and resources. From curating content to fostering connections, she champions individual transformations while honoring her family's mission.

Mary Layman

Embarking on her TOPS journey in May 2018, Mary Layman achieved weight-loss success by earning Division 2, Second Place Winner for Western Pennsylvania that same year. She currently serves as Treasurer for her chapter and is an Advocate for 14 Chapters in Western PA. Mary enjoys connecting with fellow members at various events and has recently taken on the role of facilitating Online Meetings. Here, she shares her knowledge about nutrition, healthy eating and physical activity while fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Her journey toward improved health continues, celebrated alongside fellow TOPS members.

Jim Parker

Jim Parker

Jim embarked on a transformative journey with TOPS in 2007, driven by a diabetes diagnosis. In less than six months, he shed 54 pounds and no longer required medication. He also joined TOPS Field Staff and has maintained his goal weight status for 15 years. Throughout his time with TOPS, Jim has attended every PRD and has served as co-chair for Ontario Men in TOPS at these events.
