Ultra-Crunch Salad

Celebrate the return of longer days and warmer weather by putting fresh greens to good use in this delicious salad.  

Prep time: 10 min.     Total Time: 15 min.     Servings: 2

Low Sodium


  • 15 oz. container romaine lettuce or mixed salad greens 
  • ½ c. diced bell peppers (red, yellow or orange) 
  • ½ c. raw apple, chopped 
  • ¼ c. unsalted mixed nuts 
  • ¼ c. wonton strips or crushed tortilla chips
  • ¼ c. fresh lime juice


  1. Divide the salad greens into two bowls. 
  2. Add half of the peppers, nuts, apples and wonton strips to each bowl. 
  3. Top each with half the lime juice, then serve.
